Markt 9, 04509 Delitzsch, Germany

Delitzsch Beach(t) transforms the heart of Delitzsch into a vibrant summer destination right on the Marktplatz from May 28 to June 14, 2026. This urban beach venue combines classic beach volleyball with a full calendar of summer events, creating an authentic seaside atmosphere in the middle of the city. The highlight is undoubtedly the Sparkassen summer cinema, where visitors can watch films under the stars with sand between their toes and the gentle summer breeze—just bring a blanket or folding chair for maximum comfort. Beyond cinema nights, Delitzsch Beach(t) hosts organized beach volleyball tournaments for all skill levels, a dedicated children's summer cinema, and wellness offerings like morning yoga sessions in the sand. The GSVE Delitzsch e.V. organizes special school tournaments during weekdays (8am-2pm) and offers the Flizzy sports badge program for kindergarten children. This venue perfectly caters to families looking for summer fun, young adults seeking social activities, and anyone craving that carefree beach feeling without leaving the city. The on-site food and beverage services keep visitors refreshed throughout the day. While parking in the immediate city center is limited during the event, convenient P+R park-and-ride facilities and direct S-Bahn connections to both railway stations (just 5-10 minutes walk away) make access easy and stress-free.
