  • Booking information: name, email, phone number, and service preferences when you make a booking as a customer.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies for authentication, preference cookies for settings, and analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Public business data: we collect publicly available business information (business names, addresses, phone numbers, reviews) from sources like Google Maps and business directories to create marketplace listings.
  • Authentication providers: if you sign in using Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Send product updates and promotional communications (with your consent; you can opt out at any time).

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Vendors: when you make a booking, your name, email, phone number, and booking details are shared with the Vendor to fulfill the booking.
  • Payment processing: Stripe, Inc. processes all payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Email delivery: Resend, Inc. delivers transactional and notification emails on our behalf.

  • Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

4. Vendor Data Ownership

Vendors own their business data, customer data, and booking records. Unlike marketplace platforms, Addagio does not use Vendor customer data for cross-selling, advertising, or sharing with competitors. Vendors can export all their data at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: required for authentication, session management, and security. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies: remember your preferences (language, theme, location).
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how the Service is used. These are first-party only; we do not use Google Analytics or other third-party tracking scripts.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Service.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.
  • Encrypted database storage for data at rest.
  • Secure authentication with magic links and OAuth (no passwords stored).
  • Payment card data handled entirely by Stripe — never touches our servers.
  • Regular security reviews and access controls.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
  • Deleted accounts: personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Anonymized booking statistics may be retained for analytics.
  • Legal obligations: we may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., tax and financial records).
  • Marketplace listings: public business information sourced from third parties may be retained even if a Vendor has not claimed the listing, as it is publicly available information.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
